Description

The outstanding, world award winning Rewarewa nectar delivers us a
delightful taste experience, a natural fresh soft fine texture presently, it will
crystalise with time and as temperatures drop.
We are excited to produce this heavenly nectar.

The flavour is divine.. malty treacle and rich, with a woody cinnamon finish. 
Still very fresh, so flavours will enhance with maturity.
The flower bracts of the Native Honeysuckle are crimson red,  delivering the
tasty nectar the bees go crazy for !.
This year is the purest we have ever had ..

Lab tested at 4.6 NPA (72MGO), Rewarewa it is renowned to have
the peroxide activity, like our Manuka ..which helps in healing and
fighting bad bacteria. Rewarewa Honey is also high in anti-oxidants
for dealing with free radicals in the body, and found to have
strong anti-inflammatory properties.
The nectar is a beautiful plum colour. 
This batch is an unprocessed natural soft texture, 
but will crystalise as winter sets in and temps drop.
