These pails are from an isolated Manuka/kanuka site inland on our Mahurangi West peninsula.
With not a lot of Manuka coming through this season, but the yellowy green colour and zingy
freshness, but subtle flavor shows us bountiful amounts of Kanuka.

My personal favourite staple honey to use every day
The convenience of a large handy tub, ant proof when the lid is clicked down firmly,
an absolute bargin to have good quality honey on hand like this, to replace your cane sugar.
The equivalent is $34 a kg for Kanuka in 500g jars,  this is a good way to purchase quality honey
for everyday use, and easy decantering into a smaller vessel, or melting small batches gently to
have liquid honey for drizzling over yoghurt, weatbixs, salads etc.
