Fresh floral flavours, warm and tingly, with great health benefits, our peninsular is covered in Kanuka. This seasons Kanuka is paler than last season, due to the abundance of pohutukawa, which has lightened this years batch.
Kanuka comes into flower shortly after the manuka, the drifts of weepy branches laden with small cream flowers cover our hills and valleys, and the bees go crazy for it!
Kanuka Honey contains Peroxide Activity, similar to its cousin Manuka. The health benefits are reputed to aid gut bacteria and digestion.  Also great for skin conditions, including eczema and rosacea
